Goodbye, Alcalá!

In my blog-world absence, we've been busy sorting and advertising our belongings on websites, handing our possessions off, packing, cleaning, saying final goodbyes, and finally, driving away from what was known as "home" for the past ten and a half months. To add to the excitement, we rented a car, fought with Google maps (get your exits right, Google!), and navigated approximately 155 roundabouts, some of which have traffic lights within and some of which do not (isn't the point of a roundabout not to have traffic lights? Just a thought.). We pulled up to our new apartment in Valencia safe and sound, if not a little frazzled after our adventure. We're thankful to be here, thankful for friends here that we've already spent time with, and for new scenery as we think about the next steps in our lives. More soon!

We will miss Calle Infanta Catalina, and living in a building that is 354 years old.
